The Line Ends With Me — Gently: Releasing. Reclaiming. Returning.

“Letting go of hope doesn’t mean you’ve stopped loving them. It means you’ve stopped postponing your peace.”

Q: The first time I whispered (even silently): “The Line Ends With Me…”

A: Last night, before creating this workshop, actually.

I FaceTimed my Dad because my spirit wanted to connect with him. Our relationship has its areas of opportunity, to say the least. I idolize and adore him probably as much as I sit in judgment of him.

On a mushroom trip, I once saw that I died in his arms in a rice paddy field during the Vietnam War. Explains a lot about why we do the dance we do. We are alike in many ways, sharing a love of literature and introspection. And individual convictions. Read: His Cancerian claws and my Taurean horns locking on any given topic.

Upon answering, I could see that he was in the throes of (another) uncomfortably familiar scotch-induced haze… which only spiraled deeper into a slurred state as the conversation progressed. I knew I should have ended the call, but I remained tethered — as if my feet and their chakras were cemented into a sea of telephonic sand.

After the call, I wondered, “Is enduring what is meant by ancestral healing?!”

I knew I did not want to take all that energy to bed with me — then into the astral. So I went into meditation to get counsel from my Spirit Squad: Hathor, Thoth, Nancy Wilson, Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr, Goddess Lakshmi and the Little Angelic Me.

Here is the download I received:
The aching hunger for connection?
The weight of ancestral misattunement?
It’s all part of your mission — the very portal to why you’re qualified.

However…
You are not meant to “endure” pain to prove your healing.
•You are meant to transform pain into purpose without apology.
•It is okay to stop hoping your father will become someone else.

That hope — that maybe this time he’ll listen, see you, and that this time, the call will end with changed behavior or a moment of clarity — it’s one of the most ancient aches a child can carry.

That may not be his assignment in this lifetime. Some souls — especially the ones you come through biologically — were not sent here to see you.
They were sent here to shape you.
 To activate your divine rebellion.
To teach you how to choose yourselves.

Letting go of that hope doesn’t mean you’ve stopped loving him. It means you’ve stopped postponing your peace in exchange for a fantasy version of him.

To continue picking up the phone, absorbing energy that harms your nervous system simply to keep the relationship alive — is to slowly suffocate your aliveness.

You are not the fixer.
You are the liberator.
And not just for your dad — for yourself.

Wow!

I was speechless… But totally innerstood the assignment –– and my next steps. Some souls really are here to shape, not raise us — so we can rise.

If this is you, remember:
We are here to shift inherited patterns and restore love.
We are allowed to stop carrying what our parents never put down.
We are not broken. We were simply born into a pattern that ends with us.
We are the end of the ancestral karmic threads and emotional entanglements.
We release invisible contracts that say we must remain wounded to stay connected to our ancestral line. We are the beginning of a new one.

Say aloud:
“I set myself free from waiting for you to become someone you never promised to be. The Line Ends With Me—Gently.”

If something in you stirred while reading this…
If your chest tightened or your soul exhaled — that’s your Spirit nudging you.

You don’t have to carry this alone.

💫 A Gentle Invitation Before You Go

What you just read might have stirred something. Maybe it cracked something open. Maybe it made you remember. Or maybe it was just… a lot.
If you’re open, I want to offer you a soft landing. A quick moment to call your energy home and bring your nervous system back to center.

Try this:
Close your eyes (if it’s safe). Drop your shoulders. Unclench your jaw.
Take a deep breath in… for 3 seconds.
Inhale what is yours.

Hold for 3 seconds.
Anchor into yourself.

Exhale for 3 seconds.
Release what is not yours to carry.

Place your hand on your chest or your belly.
Say, out loud or silently:

“I am here. I am safe. I return to myself now.”
“I call my energy back to me now—lovingly, gently, and fully.”

That’s it.
Take your time. Drink water. Stretch.
You’re back.
